ever since i got my tl this jan. and joining this forum, i've been noticing more and more tls, keeping a close eye on details to see if anyone is probaly from this forum(i see this tl w/ a body kit, the other one with an exhaust, plenty of stock ones), well anyway by now i can spot a tl a block away!
so is there a way we can signal eachother to show that this and that tl is from this forum!

just flash the emergency blinkers for a fellow tl member!

 

This has been brought up before. Suggestions included the following:

1. beeping the horn
2. waving
3. acura-tl.com stickers on the window
4. yelling out the window
5. flashing your hi-beams

Did I miss any?

And for extreme measures:
6. taking down their license plate # and stalking them
7. throwing rocks at their TL
8. ramming into their TL
9. stopping in front of them so they can rear-end you
10. showing your fake cop badge and telling them to pull over

i got my first compliment from a tl owner on the road today!

dont flash your headlights. thats a porsche tradition. if you flash them while a 911 is near by, he'll make you look like a corolla

acura-tl.com is a good idea but letters will be too small for many of us to read after a few car lengths unless you blow it up and paste the whole acura-tl.com sticker goin across the body of the car

I've never seen anyone from this board on the street yet. Actually, it's very rare to see any modd'ed TL on the street. I see MANY TLs but they are bone stock!

I thought I might have seen someone from here today going home..

I was in front of a Heather Mist TL, it had a bra and tinted windows. The driver seemed to change lanes just to get behind me.. so I naturally thought it was someone here..

So I slow down, get in front and flash my hazards a few times.. I even have the www.acura-tl.com sticker on the back of my window..

The driver turned out to be a woman, as she was going by, I tried to see who it was. She just passed on by..
