i think it is dependant upon how the cl sales go. seeing as how the maxima, altima, is, bmw 3, and mercedes c240 all are available with sticks i would think they would because there is definitely a market for it. but, i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The Market is there, but it's all in the MARKETING. The TL has been out for years and i never saw a first gen comercial and i have seen maybe 10 TL comercials and like 5 Type S comercials. If acura would take out huge magazine ads like Nissan, Infinity , Toyota and just about every other company, a manual TL will be easy to sell.

oh yes it will come out. How do I know?

I ask an acura salesman if the TL would come out with a manual tranny. He firmly said NO they would never make a TL stick. What he meant to say was that is coming out, but I need to sell this CL so why wait.

He also said no one needs stick here in florida which I heard from many other salesman. I said we don't need big SUV's in florida either and look how many are on the streets.

There are alot here.

I personally don't think the manual will ever make it to the TL. I see it staying in the CL b/c it is their sport coupe but the TL is more along their family lux line. Don't get me wrong I wish they would do it but I have the feeling that they won't.

No question. Once they do it for the CL, its cost effective to do it for the TL.

If they do it in 04', I will have my TL paid for and I will buy a TL-S manual, for my next car. If not, I will look at everything else.

Is going to follow the same way the TYPE S did. First on the CL, which at the time I thought that it was not going come out on the TL and the salesman also said that it was NOT going to come out on the TL. Let me repeat myself:

What he meant to say was that is coming out, but I need to sell this CL so why wait.
