TL Headrests in TL-S?

I'm looking to install a monitor in each of my headrests of my 2002 TL-S, but this cannot be done with the given design of the TL-S headrests so I was wondering if the standard TL headrests will fit in the TL-S seats?

Thanks,

Michael

Yes, it's possible. A couple people over at a-cl.com has put screen on their TL-S headrests. It's possible...just looks funny..

I definitly may be interested. I just bought the car yesterday so I've got to do a bit more research on what screens I want, etc. I'll let you know asap though. Thanks!

That would actually be ideal... although I'm a big fan of subtlety (sp?) and clean lines...so I wouldn't want the bottom half of the tv to be showing as much as teh TL-S headrests may cause it to. On the other hand I'm not a huge fan of the grandpa-cadillac look of the TLP headrests.....

LOL

Do you have, or could you take, a pic of the headrests by chance?

Thanks,

Mike

I ran into that dillemma. I didnt want TL non S headrests so I bought CLS headrests. Put big 5.6 monitors in those and it still has the cutout. See my gallery for pics. TLS headrests are way to small for monitors.

I will need to trade headrest this summer too for the TLP ones.

Acuracy02, I am in the same dilema. But have you thought about maybe a 10" monitor fold down for the backseat passengers instead of two for the headrest? Do you think that would look stupid? I just love the S headrest and hate to get rid of them.

The only time I am really accepting of fold down monitors is in SUV's. I really don't even like them in minivan's.... not sure though because I too am a fan of the TLS 'rests. I just want to make my video install to look really clean and I dunno that a fold down would accomplish that. Also, you'd have no way to see behind you since your rear view mirror would be blocked....
