TL Compared to other vehicles

I'm sure you've all seen this but I thought I'd share just in case

0-60 list of cars.
http://www.car-videos.net/performanc...d1=0&Speed2=60

Compared to Audi A4 Quattro
http://www.car-videos.net/performanc...D1=194&ID2=146

I was surprised when I saw the cars that the S was compared to...

What this tells you is that average condition TL-S might be able to beat nissan leaf in 0-60 drag race.

6.4 sec 0-60 for the 2003 TL-S
5.8 sec 0-60 for the 2003 CL-S

Seems like too big of a difference for cars that are so similar no?

The CL-S is a lot lighter and it's offered with a manual transmission.

No... The TL-P was 7.5sec. The TL-S was 6.6sec.

From the numbers my TL ran at the track, I got exactly 6.6-6.8 seconds using the http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php.

10.027 1/8 mile at 73.94
9.998 1/8 mile at 73.06

AT and traction really detract from the TL's 0-60 time.

As much as I love the TL-S, I like my TL-P alot too. I got a hell of a deal on it and just broke 71k miles so still in great shape. Got a good deal on it too.

I looked at both the p and the s ..... what made the s the choice for me was the fact that the gas mileage was about the same...

Of course...I imagine that's partly due to the fact that we have to run premium.
