I was wondering, what are the differences between the TLs and CLs Bose audio system? Does the CL have a Subwoofer? If a TL or CL have navigation, is it still the sam Bose system? How many watts are the bose system?

 

Im know for sure that the CL doesnt have a subwoofer but I think it has tweeter. (not 100% sure on the tweeters)

 

Yes, the CL has tweeters and is a 6 speaker system. the two rear deck speakers in the CL are 6 x 9's, no subwoofer. The TL has 4 speakers (6") in each door, and a separate subwoofer in the rear deck,. I remember reading somewhere that the TL out put is something like 215 or 220 watts. I think the TL system sounds better. My sister has the CL type S, I have a TL type S, i think there is fuller sound in the TL.

 

A subwoofer makes everything sound better... I just wish the CL had it too... I am thinking about getting a CLs... But the bose head unit.. is it the same?

 

I think the headunit's are the same, because the speakers in both cars have their own dedicated amps. They sure look to be the same size physically. Sorry I can't help you out more. My instinct says yes.

CL and TL HU aren't the same. It looks the same but the CL HU won't work in a TL. Some 99-01 TL tried to upgrade to the 6 disc indash and only the TL 02-03 HU would work in the TL.
