yo i think it would be nice if there was a thread where you guys would describe whats on your TL, how much it costed, and approx horsepower. I just got a TL this weekend and really have no idea what to throw on it because theres so many different setups and prices flowing out there, i wanted to know what some of you guys threw on your car so i can get a general idea with more info, instead of just reading your signatures

Any time, man. I love helping others out. I'm always cranking wrenches on my friends' cars, too.

 

I spent 6704 so far, but that's only for the current mods. Other previous mods that were replaced with others, plus all the deductibles I spent on getting my car fixed, my total spending would be somewhere around 9000.

However, I don't think it's depressing. Honestly, if I hadn't spent it on the car, I would've wasted all of it at the bars. This way, at least I can enjoy the things I spent my money on, and have something to show for it.

Not to hijack, but how did you feel the gains were with the unichip? Worth the 675? How easy to install?

 

Ehh I would feel worse getting smoked by a G35 and regretting why I didn't buy one then to feel about spending so much money on my Acura (Honda Inspire...rebadged!)

Yikes, people on here actually use the Bosch platinum+4 spark plugs?

After the horror stories from the Explorer and Maxima forums about those plugs, they should be banned. Anyways from what I hear is that they get really hot and can seize on the aluminum block and plugs get stuck.

to me it was worth it, it was as if i got headers all over again. the extra bonus i did not expect was my greatly improved gas milage. With my unichip i'm getting about 360 miles a tank. Half city half highway. prior to unichip i was getting mabe 320 or so. the chip has already paid for itself. the install was very simple. Everything PnP. disconnect 3 plugs from ecu, plug those into unichip module, 3 from module back into ecu. I have a dyno below so you can look at the performance. Headers, k&n drop in, &

cool cool, ive got the Nakamichi Dragon Cassette Deck at home. Thing is wikid!

 

i'd luv the supercharger, but the downfall is i'd have to get rid of my unichip. cant use the supercharger with the chip.

 

Nakamichi makes NICE equipment, worth the $$$ if you have it
