It sounds like you went to the '02/'03 tails that have the clear turn signal lens. You'll just have to get the amber bulbs to put in there (I can't remember the bulb no.; 1156 I think???).
Someone will post the correct bulb number.

Does it matter if its a white bulb for your turning signal? I'm actually thinking of putting a hyper white on mine

Just go to AutoZone or PepBoys and get the bulb. Just look up "rear turn signal bulb for '02 or '03 3.2TL"; you'll see that it's different from the '99-'01 because of the color.

Go with red led bulbs. That would look hot with the clear turn signals. If you get pulled over, be nice and make sure the officer marks your ticket as "fix it". :cop:

red LED's as turn signals in the rear is legal. alot of cars these days come with red led blinkers from the factory these days. but if you want to find one for the 2000TL, yes it is 7440. or you can just pull out the bulb and bring it to any car shop, NAPA is probably the most common, they are all over the place and it only costs 2 or 3 bucks..

those are the high beams, not the lows.
Look for the bulbs with the most blue tint ??

Anyways, getting back to the original post about the rear turn signal bulbs... I just painted stock clear bulb w/yellow paint. I think it looks better than orange and didn't cost me anything...

Oh really!! Tell that to the Massachusetts police. I did, and still got nailed with a ticket for having red turn signals. Must have been the "end of the month" quota fill. I fought it and got away with it though, but not without getting the "don't let me see it again" lecture.
