TL 99-01 Carbon Fiber Hood
I'm wondering if anyone besides myself is interested in buying a carbon fiber hood. I'm sending out my hood for the mold, I believe they are made by Fiber Image, and I was just curious. I'll probably have it made no matter what but at least this way I can give them feed back on any interest in having them made. I couldn't tell you the cost exactly, probably around $500-600.
They won't be made until winter 01-02.

Won't it be a little hard driving around without a hood? Are you not going to drive your TL for that long? I don't know if I could survive....its bad enough when I have to drive a Integra loaner car for the day......but a couple months...fewwwww!

I'm in the process of getting one through a friend of mine that works in wholesale for after market performance parts. I was told by my friends hook-up that he would have to ask his boss if they would make it for me. For weeks I was told that his boss had'nt made his decision finally last week i was told that they would make the hood only if they had 5 buyers up-front. So if you want a hood p.m. me and lets see if we can get those 5 buyers.
