Tire Mileage ??

What kind of tire mileage can I expect to get with these stock tires? Has anyone out there used them for their full life or do most people upgrade them?

If you do everything right (rotate every 7500 miles, do re-balancing few times, and having good alignment on your car ) you can expect 60K miles.... but the average seems to be in 40-50K

Mine lasted 48k. They had less than legal limit by the time I replaced them. I hated every mile of them. Considering how I drive, I'm surprised my stock tires lasted as long as they did.

Regardless of how you drive, keep them properly inflated and you'll get maximum use out of them.

Which replacement you got? Is SumitosHT+(or whatever the name is) better than stock?

I replaced my stock tires with 225/55HR16 Bridgestone Potenza RE950's
I know they're not the best tires but I'm not doing any competition. My car is stock and my only concern was traction in the rain. These RE950's do great in the rain so they fit the bill for me.

I have the stock TLP Tires, Michelin Engergy MXV4's and I have 59k and I can probably go another 10-15k easily.

Almost 75K on stock tires, that's crazy ...and I thought you had to use some crappy Sears s-rated and drive like 35 mph everywhere to get mileage like that. You MUST rot/bal very regularly...I'll be happy if I can get 30-40 out of mine.

Just two tires wore out. In the front. I skipped one rotation. There was tread left but very little and they were all over the place in the rain.

I don't spin them, but I drive pretty fast every day, 25 miles each way, 80-100mph.

I would also be interested in learning about Falkens after reading this review:

I upgraded to 18" rims/tires, however, my CL stocks had a little over 62k miles on them when I sold it, and they still looked new. Probably had another 10-15k easily on them. I rotated them about every 10k or so. I didn't baby them that much as I drove fast... but I never really ripped around turns and stuff. About 80-85% of my driving is highway.. so that probably helped too....
