that tiptronic diy

i cant find it, i searched in "Tiptronic" and "tiptronic mod" and couldnt find that diy. can someone post it for me plz?

hey since we're talking about shifter, is there a way to mod the paddle shifter on our TL? i mean like get a paddle shifter for IS350 and mod it on ?

I may do this mod when my car pulls over 1g in acceleration and deceleration.

For now, I actually like the way it is. I've been brainwashed by Acura!

The paddle shifter shouldn't be that hard. It's just a matter of extending the wires from the shifter to the steering column and then wiring the paddle shifter. Our shifter is already setup in such a way that a momentary tap closes the circuit and causes a shift so the electrical function should be the same as a paddle.

I think it'd actually be harder to mount the paddle shifter so it looks clean. There probably isn't space to mount the paddles on the actual column so you'd have to do a custom column cover as well as mounts. But props if you wanna try.

Will this mod void the 100K tranny warranty by chance?

They probably wouldnt even notice. And if they did you arent doing any thing to the tranny just switching 2 wires around so that its reversed, the way it should be.
