tinting over the top matrix (rear window)
Is tinting over the matrix (dots) in the rear will cause the tint to bubble eventually? My tinter just tinted right over it...no bubbles in that area now but who knows later on? How long does it takes to bubble in this area (to take the damn car back)

When i got mine done like 2 months ago, the guy did the tint right over the matrix... but he even told me the new tint is fine to go right over that and gave me a lifetime warrenty on it.. that it will not bubble there or anywhere..

Have had Llumar Window Film on every car I owned. It's the best film, plain and simple...Have it on my TLS and it looks awesome. No need to put vinyl or cut the film. I have it tinted over the matrix and it looks perfect. Reason is that people with accords or mustangs have lots of trouble with tint peeling up at the matrix because their matrix is made up of glass with raised black dots, but the TL's matrix is made up of clear dots that are NOT raised so there is plenty of glass for the tint to stick to.
