Tinting my windows today! how much $?
im going to tint my rear,2 little quater panel windows and 2 back side windows today, i found a place that will do it with a lifetime warenty, but i need to call them, but they don t open till 830, and i wanna know how much money i should expect to pay, im guessing about 150-250. but i dunno. what have you guys payed to have your windows tinted and how do you like it so far. anything i should know before i do this.the brand the use is LLUMAR®. is this brand anygood, again a liftime warenty that if for any reson it needs to be replaced they will at no cost to me redo it.its a local shop not a big name place.any thoughts?

Llumar's the good stuff so no worries there. I think the $150-250 is about how much although $250's a bit high. Maybe someone from NJ can chime in with prices around there.
Also, check how they're gonna do the "dot matrix" thingee at the top of the rear window. Some places do a bad job on it and leave bubbles. Some people ask for a black strip there. Do a search.

i got a guy out in denver that can do it for like 120-150. but lifetime warrant sounds good for 200-250. what percent tint do you want to do, because i know the lower percentage gets you a higher price around here. Hey does anyone know an easy way to take off tint, i bought my car with probably a 35 percent tint and i want a 15%-10% tint, but dont want to pay the extra 100 just to take it off!

well i just got it done and it looks amazing, it cost 173 after tax, and it was 15% tint! with the lifetime warenty and im scedualed next week for a followup apointment to checkup and see if it still looks ok and for them to be the first ones to roll down my windows to kick off the warenty! im am very impressed!ill post pics later!

im about 2 get mines tinted 2. any1 kno how long u have 2 keep tha windows up?
AcuraDreamin: im in tha same position as u. im getting mines done for 160-180 w lifetime warranty. when u get urs done leme kno how it comes out. they were telling me that my defroster is likely to b damaged during tha stock tint removal process but they're gonna try their best not 2 damage it

I got my tint done at the Acura dealership for like $129 i think with lifetime warranty. I got 35% tint in the front 2 windows (the lowest legal limit) and 20% on the back 2 windows including the rear winshield.

Im in NJ... though im in central NJ.... i got my maxima done about a yr ago for roughly 155... (front windows, back windows, back windshield)... 150 for just the back is a bit high... you should only be paying about 75-100 for that... shop around though, b/c a bunch of places quoted me about 225 for everything, so i had to look a little harder to find that place... it was in elizabeth the name of it slips my mind though.

Wow! Some good tint deals rollin around this forum. I won't touch this car for less than $220+tax so kudos for everyone getting good deals. I full tint removal and replacement would be $320 for this car.
