Has anyone heard about silver tint for your windows? I wanted to know if anyone got that or has seen it on a car before?

Well, you've got two options, go with a metal tint (like I did), it'll have a mirror type effect to it, or buy a silver tint, that makes it look like your windows are a piece of chrome (yuck).... Formula One makes a good metal tint, check out their website to find a dealer near you.

I've got the Formula One metal tint, 35% and I'm not real happy with it.

There are two problems. One is with the installation of it. The other is that when the sun is coming at it from the side the window has a "graining" or "dirty" appearance to it. Not good in my opinion.

I think I'm going to have them take it off and replace it with the Millennium version which is not metallic.

Anybody else have metallic and noticed this problem?
