Timing Belt
Timing Belt
Hi Guys, it's time for a timing belt change. I feel pretty confident in doing this myself. I have changed timing belts before on everything from a miata to a volvo. The question I have though is if anyone knows where a certain writeup is for the timing belt diy. I have looked at the one in the diy section. While this one is pretty good I know I have seen one that is better. There was one that had pictures with all the torque specs and the re-install. The WHOLE nine yards. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and knows where it is please let me know. Thanks
There is a bolt by bolt video DIY that explains everything about the t-belt job, from the different tensioners to the removing the crank pulley.

Or you could pay the guy who went to the trouble of making the video ....

$10.99 for a great resource - why steal it?

Thanks guys, it was actually the gen 3 diy that I was thinking about. Didn't realize it was the gen 3. Anyway, I have since finished the job. Definately worth saving the $800 that I was quoted at a couple of different shops.
Thanks
Thanks
