times like this is when i hate acura

i had recently lost my stock lugnuts so i went to have them replced, and got them from a local auto parts, well guess what got a flat yesterday and the lug nuts were loose. so i went back to the auto parts and they told me they dont make lug nuts for that car that will fit tight like the stock ones. fine so i call the dealer and they told me the same that i have to get them from Acura b/c there is a washer that holds the nut tight, so i order the lug nuts at a pretty Fvucking hefty price for 20 lugs, $100 smacks , now you know that **** hurts , so guys dont loose your lugnuts.

sorry for the long post i was venting . anyone have lugnuts they are not using.

Damn that sucks. You got a flat with the stock rims right?
Those roads in the bronx are a killer. I was driving on the cross bronx and major deegan recently and it was like driving on an obstacle course.

that's how they make their money

they break even selling you the car.

they make up for it by selling you the lugnuts.

Honda/Acura lugs aren't anymore special than the windshield washer fluid that they use. Discount Auto Parts sells lugnuts that will fit a Honda/Acura for a hell of a lot less than $100/set.

i went to few places and all told me the same thing, that the Acura lugnuts fit tighter than any other lugnut, to be honest i rather them be tight than loose and possible wheels fly off. you know

I understand . I would have gave you mines, but I don't have them. If I knew they were worth $100 bucks, I would have kept them. Jens is giving them to you anyways. Cool Jen.
