WOW I can't believe that. I e-mail him all the time, and never got a response longer than a day. Always on time.

Yes TL-S is longer because of VSA throttle body. Don't know how much longer, but around 2"

Yeah but TL-Ps have TCS which also require a longer than normal intake tube, so maybe they are the same length?

No man, TCS has nothing to do with the intake...only brakes.

Trust me the TL-S is longer than TL-P, because of the VSA.

On my legend TCS is on the intake manifold and requires a longer intake tube that is why companies such as weapon R make TCS specific intakes (have you ever noticed that). Of course this is on my legend.

Possible. Need to cut, then buy a silicon hose that adapts 2.5" to 3". I'm not sure about the mounts, but it should be the same.

The TL-P and TL-S has different style intakes. I'm sure you can cut the TL-P one to fit..but you'll lose the breather holes for the little tubes..and the mounting holes are different...and the bend where it goes down the hole is different as well.

damn, just buy the right stuff...its so much better when you have stuff that fits only your car...and yes, the TLS intake is longer...mine is barely below the bumper even w/bypass...the TLS actually sits right on top of the rubber flap below the bumper...Shyne

You have to get your email fixed, or update your profile, as this is the 2nd post you wrote I didn't respond to you, and I have 5 emails in my sent folder to you.
Is your email the correct one you have listed in your profile ?
jlerd@hotmail.com ???

Like I answered your other post, and how others have done here
The 2 intakes are different (in length and tube size) so you would want to get the correct intake for your car.
As the intake is tested with the different sizes, if you cut the TL-P intake to fit your Type S, your intake will have a smaller diameter, and less power, then if you would of got, from buying the correct intake for your car.
