Noticed some threads that mention a tilting passenger mirror, what years / models have that feature. Does not happen on my 2000 TL-P. Can it be made to work on a 2000 if not standard?

I could be wrong, but from what I remember reading here, this feature was only available on '02+ models. I have a '99 and to be honest -- I don't even sit around wishing I had this feature. If your side mirrors are positioned correctly, I don't see any benefit of having your mirrors tilt downwards while in reverse....isn't necessary...for me, at least.

 

2002s and newer have the auto tilt. Very helpful feature when your wanting to back your TL into that end spot right up near a curb to avoid a door ding on the other side of the car. I really like this feature and use mine all the time.
