Tight Steering Wheel
My steering wheel on my TL-S has been tight since I've bought it. Some told me its actually a good thing but just to clarify things is there something wrong with my steering wheel or wheels?
It gets annoying during turns and it actually causes my arms to get tired on long drives.
How can I go about fixing it to make it smoother and easier to turn?
Power steering fluid?

first ck the tire pressures
then the ps fluid is probably ready for a flush--easy diy
inspect rack boots for leaking inside from bad rack seals
the TL drives like butter, 1 finger on the wheel and it stays on course
Some years have speed sensative steering too, giving more action at parking lot speeds to get in a space and less at freeway to cut down wandering

Type-S has bigger, heavier wheels (17" vs 16") and wider tires (215 vs 205). The type-S tires are also lower profile and have stiffer walls. I think all those things make the steering stiffer.
you only need the lightweight crank pulley- not the ones for ps or alt,,car will be great with just the crankshaft
if running more than 600 watts stereo, get the stock size lightweight pulley
the rest can run `underdrive` which will slow ac operation at idle but fine the rest of the time- that pulley requires a different size belt to compensate
ck bomz brand--CL guys been on them for years, or excelerate has the UR in stock size
that alone makes the car rev faster, so it gets to vtec faster = faster car with no change in loudness to attract attention~

I ordered a Bomz pulley yesterday off eBay - $50 w/ free shipping. Now I need to get a Honda crank pulley nut tool. I can't find any loaners, so I guess I'll have to buy it just for this one project. Well, I'll be doing my timing belt/water pump at the same time, so I guess more than one project. I'm debating OEM parts vs after market. I know many aftermarket parts are better than stock, and they are cheaper, so...
i see you're in nashville - that's only about 3 hours from atlanta. are you ever down this way?
the reason i ask is we atliens have a guy in marietta (upper northwest side) that will do the timing belt and pully install fairly cheap. might be worth it if you're ever down this way.

so any power steering fluid that says it for designed for honda it will work? or do you need to use a fluid from honda like you would buy in the dealer.
because you go to an auto parts store and they have power steering fluid thats for hondas, assuming that will work with our TLs.

Changing the pulley is a LOT easier than the timing belt and water pump. The only trick is getting the crank pulley nut off, but there is a special tool for it. If your dad's friend has that tool...piece o' cake. Of course your dad's friend may try to talk you out of installing a light-weight crank pulley. Some stock crank pulleys are weighted to counteract the turning of the crankshaft itself, and if you replace those weighted pulleys with an unweighted one, the crankshaft will be off-balance and 'creep'. When that happens, it will ruin the crankshaft seals and leak oil. Luckily our cars don't have weighted crank pulleys, so all good.
