The area where my mileage and temperature shows doesn't light up all the time. I've noticed it going on and off for about a month now and thought this was really weird because I had the SAME exact problem with my previous 03 TL-P. I figured its because my bulb is messed up but I think its more than a coincidence that it happened to both my cars. The same light comes on and off whenever it feels like it. On the TL-P when i throw it on tiptronic drive (sports drive) the gears (1 2 3 4 5) doesn't show up/light up neither if the other light is out. But its on when the mileage light is on.(if this makes any sense) However on the TL-S the gears show even when the mileage light is out.
Anyone else has had this problem? or was it just a coincidence that the bulb is fked up

 

I have the same problem too, replaced the fuse but still the same thing.

 

Maybe you guys should change the bulbs just to see if that fixes the problem and do a LED swap since you are changing the bulb anyway. Its worth it.

 

I never actually access the lighting behind the dash. Any DIY's available and you know what bulbs are used?
