Throttle Response

I was wondering if there is a mod to adjust or quicken throttle trespone. Anything would help. Thanks

if it was a cable system it would be faster...... but i belive our cars are electronic .

no our car is actually cable controlled....if you want faster throttle response turn off vsa....the way out engine works is that there is basically 2 throttle bodies....the gas one that connects right into the intake manifold and then the vsa after the gas throttle body......that way the vsa acts as a master throttle......during hard acceleration the vsa sometimes closes a bit to control the power.....just turn off vsa and viola

the venom400 tricks your computer into thinking the pedal is depressed more than reality. it is supposed to be effective b/t 1K-5K. you do lose about 2-3 mpg. i don't know if anyone on the board has it.

Hum, I don't know if it's a mental thing or what, but I tried turning the VSA off tonight and I do notice a quicker throttle response. Great tip.

U can adjust the throttle cable. Then ur car will be idling at 1000 or more instead of 600 RPM
