Throttle gettig stuck.. all the way
So last weekend I swap to a type s throttle body on my original manifold because I could not get the 09 manifold to work properly. The first night I was going over a bridge and the throttle got stuck all the way down. It was empty so I kept tryig to flick the pedal to get it unstuck, it wouldn't stop going so I through it in neutral and shut off the car. Went to go start it up a couple of times and it's bouncing off the rev limiter. Messed with the cables and it went back to normal. A couple of days ago it did it again slightly. I noticed black cruise control clip was broken so I disconnected the cruise cable and zip tied it to the side. Today I was leaving the bank and it did it again, the throttle got stuck all the way down. After messing with t and trying to start the car about 8 times it finally idled right and drive normal. Does anybody know what's causing this? I bought the throttle body used and I already sent an email to the place I bought it from.

I would start with the cable, lube it, and be prepared for it to be too far gone to help.... that's replacement time....
Also check the butterfly on the TB, maybe that's getting stuck open?

Lol actually because of that I actually knew to put it into neutral and shut the car down. My grandma has a Camry that had the stuck gas pedal problem and had to take it in for the recall. She took it in a purple of times before the problem really became known and they told her they couldn't replicate it so not to worry. It sucks that people have to die before companies start stepping up to the plate.

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body? What happens if you take the throttle cable off and manually open the throttle. Can you get it to stick open?

Update: it was the black peice that the cruise cable connects to. It was broken down at the bottom so when I would step on it all the way it would cause it to get stuck. I contacted the company and they sent me another one only to open it today and it was broken there again but not as bad. I'm returning it and buying a brand new one
