Thoughts on high-beams

Just now, my friend told me that my car ('02 TL TypeS) has the brightest high-beam that he ever seen. I replaced my stock light bulb with Silvania Silvarstar. In my opinion they are just nice. Any input on this matter?

High-beams ARE suppose to be bright. Especially if you change them from the yellowish ones to the superwhites.

BTW, if you want to see something bright, stare straight at our HIDs.

Thanks for the input guys. But I was kind of interested in your inputs on "Is our high-beam brighter than other cars (i.g. Maxima)?" I'm thinking its about the same, but as I stated in starting thread, my friends seems to say our's (TL) are brighter.
Any inputs?

The high beams on my 1999TL are pretty weak even with PIAAs in them...

It depends on the type and wattage of the high beam bulb and the design of the high beam reflector housing. Maybe your friend's non-Honda car uses a different type of bulb and/or lower wattage. It also could be that his high-beam reflector design sucks since it wasn't designed by Honda... :p

Never even used the hi-beam.
pretty annoying if someone is hi-beaming and coming straight at you(as in face to face). I wish the windshield had the autodimming as well.
