For those of you with Owthlaw spacers

Have you experience any issues with overheating, IM leaks, CEL and VSA on due to misfire, etc?

Let me hear about your experience after installing these spacers. I'm constantly getting CEL and VSA on, with a misfire code. Dealer can't figure it out, and I don't know what else to do, gas cap is tight, have new sparks (Denso IK20) O2 sensor is fine, and my last think will be to check the coils.

So let me hear from you...

1 - Make sure the plugs are torqued properly (1/4 turn past hand tight) A loose plug could throw a misfire CEL
2 - Have them test the coil packs. It's an easy test. Take a known good coil pack and swap it out with each one on the car. See if the CEL goes away.

Thanks for the feedback guys... Since I did all my mods at once, I was trying to narrow down the possiblities. I will have the coils tested, that's my next step.

If you're even the least bit handy, you can do the tests yourself. A coil pack is only ~$50 vs. the Acura diagnostic fee of ???? It's gotta be more than $50.

perform an OBD scan. i did this and found it to be my Idle Air Control Valve (IACV).
replaced that and no problems since. your car isn't doing a funky idle, is it? good luck

I ran the diagnostic tool again, and got a misfire on cyl 1 and 2. So I check the gaps of my new IK20's and switch things around, let's see. Will keep you posted. Thanks for all the feedbak, I will test each item, if the problem persist.

it was actually 1 and 4. First rear pax side, and first front pax side in that order. Facing the front of the vehicle.
