to those who installed a ICEBOX

how did you guys get yours pliers under the TB to disconnect that small hose? its so cramped down in there. any ideas??

there is a clamp and it is a bitch to get off. that is the hardest part of taking your IM off, everything else is a piece of cake. you pinch the two sides of the clamp to lossen it and then pull as hard as you friggin can and it will come off.

P.S> It is also a bitch to get it back on.

well i dont need to take off the TB just need to get to that hose under it. it DEF looks like its gonna be a bitch.

what i didnt understand whas why those two stock pipes were welded together. why not just use a smaller regular hose to connect the coolant openings. that was onw of the reasons i couldnt figure out the hose install

you can probably use a pair of long curved pliars to get in there easier. on that note i should pick some up at sears for myself....

I used Xacto knife to cut the hose, just make sure you have enough slack to put it back. It is easier to peel off the hose that remained on the metal nozzle by slide it open again with Xacto knife. Good luck
