Is that speaking from experience or just a preference?

I've seen all the post before and nobody can really tell if one is better than the other. Some people even think just because Philips cost a few bucks more, it's suppose to be better.

yeah, i agree that some ppl think money make everything nice, but i still think phillips make great products, no matter what they charge even though they could be lower.

I think if PIAA comes out with a 6000k replacement and charge more than Philips, people will say PIAA is the best........BTW, anyone know if the stockers are Philips or Osram? Also, I think the '99 HIDs are more "blue" than the 2002~2003. Anyone else noticed that?

I have philips 6000k on my 99 TL. And yes the 99 TL lights do look bluer than the 02+. I believe the stockers are also philips.

1) i would go with philips too, but it's not like i am saying osram is bad. philips is the biggest hid manufacturers in the whole world, and osram comes second. howeve rin terms of size and volume osram is no match to philips, so you can say that philips monopolize a big chunk of the market. philips bulbs have more colors, and osram bulbs are "whiter" (i am talking about 6000K). that's why i choice philips. but whichever you choose, you are still in good faith coz' they are both high quality bulbs. anyone who says osram is low quality is BS. to me all those korean stuff are garbage.

2) i believe all the older tl and cl have osram hid bulbs, at least mine too. but on 03 it seems like acura starts to use philips.

3) it will take a very long time for PIAA to even attempt hid, coz' they just cant' make it now, and even so, not as good as the germany companies. personally i think PIAA would be better off stay in the halogen market for now.

4) for hid bulbs, which they will span a long time unless you do something stupid, i don't mind spending more on quality and good stuff. philips charge more coz' they are of top notch quality and you also help pay the r&d that create all these awesome stuff.
