Thinking about getting the Sarona Body Kit

I've got a 1999 black TL-P and my opinion towards the sarona kit has always been "Oh my god what a ricey gayass body kit." Lately I've really looked at it and thought how it would look on my car and I've really grown onto the kit. It really isn't that ricey at all. It would give the TL more of an original unique look. Also, before I get this kit I'm putting on a Mugen grill and blacking out my headlight. Just want some opinions (pictures if anyone has this kit) on this kit critisizm welcome.

Fiberglass isn't terrible quality it's just that polyurethane is the shit and is indestuctable. Fiberglass isn't the issue.

first obvious thing you notice when looking at the kit is how ugly it is (but i guess that's a matter of personal preference).. then you notice it's made out of fiberglass which is shit..<

it's really all up to you man..

Def do not like it and would never put it onto my car, but if thats whats your into, go for it. Its cool to see differnet looking TL's. As for a body kit the only one that I would put on my car is the value which owns all.

That bodykit belongs on a Civic and NOT a TL....its too classy of a car for that body kit. Their roof spoiler by Sarona is nice....but thats about it. But hey, your car, your choice.

It's not that I'm going for a ricey look... I hate rice burners I've always despised them and I always will. The TL no matter what will always have class. This kit is extremly different and I would substitute parts in to fit with the kit a little bit more. The image I got in my head of my finished product which is still about $5K away gave me an optimistic idea on the kit. So far I've put about $7K into my car so I'm not trying to crap it out by ricing it. Just to give it a more original look that sets it out from other TL's.

dont bother with fiber glass. My cousin had a new 325i and he purchased a hamman kit that was fibreglass and it kept cracking. I nailed my polyurehane kit tons of times and it has neer cracked.

Sarona Rice

Man take advantage of your 99 TL and get the Value front and Blaze sides and rear. It might be a bit more but that's without a doubt the nicest kit made for the Acura TL.

I say take advantage in that people with 02-03 TLs and 96-98 TLs can't even come close to a bodykit that nice.

Ever notice how everytime someone wants to see a picture of a TL with the sarona kit, it's always the same picture...I think that there's obviously some truth in the whole bad "rice" thing considering noone seems to have a bodykit on their car and noone's proud to be showing it off...but it IS your ride...and if you can manage to have a sarona kit AND make it look different...then mad props. hahaha....otherwise I believe the lack of sarona customers speaks for itself...

Value does look good...BUT...

Value = fiber glass....so even that's a

You might be able to get away riding around for a couple of months, but once it cracks...it'll look :ghey: just like all the other cracked fiberglass kits.

Looks exactly like a black widow kit for any ol' honda but it is marked up like 200% because it is the TL. Keep it clean and get an OEM kit or an JDM kit straight from Japan: value, etc...
