Post Think this will fit on our TL?

Think this would replace our current upper strut bar. I just thought it looked really cool. And for $140, it's not too expensive. Not sure if would provide any value over the stock strut bar. Any thoughts?

it should fit if it fits a 98+ accord because the neuspeed accord bar fits our cars too. This bar looks better than the neuspeed one too.

Yeah, nice and shiny. Thinking bout getting one. Can't hurt to try it. If not, I'm sure some Accord owner would buy it off me.

Hey Rice, does this replace the black upper strut bar or does it go under it or over it?

I thought I remember seeing someone that had both the stock strut bar and an aftermarket both on the car.

That's Tanner's TL - it has the OEM strut bar and aftermarket bar - like the one shown here - that bolts to the top of the shock towers.

Well then can you remove the OEM strut bar and just use the aftermarket one?

I would think that the factory 4 point strut tower bar would be more effective than a 2 point bar..

Ed,
I think it's 5 point.

NSXNext,
You could take the OEM off but there are some brackets for some wire harnesses and stuff. If you do, gotta find something to hold up the harness.

One day I was on the phone, I thionk it was with Street Effectz, telling him how I just ordered a strut bar for the my car. He asked if I had looked at the stock one, I told him no, went out and looked at it, seen all the stuff that was mounted to it, and came on the phone laughing, canceled that order, lol

You would have to make mounting brakets to mount the stuff that is on our stock one, with the one you buy, like Tanner said

Just to add on to Tim's comments......

The OEM would be better, not only for the wire harnesses but for the fact that the OEM Strut Bar also bolts down to the firewall, were the one you want doesn't. So it may look better but won't work as well.
