Okay everyone he's the deal, I was looking around to change my 99 TL Amber and red lights to the white and red tail lights. So I found this guy on ebay selling
"Acura 99-01 Inspire 3.2 TL UA4 UA5 OEM JDM Taillights" for $199. Now the pic he has up looks right (01-03 tail lights) and all but since he said there are a few scratches I asked him to send me some more pictures. Now Im at work so I cant link the pics he sent but it looks like they are actually the 98 TL lights, the turn signal is on the bottom instead of the top but they are white. Could they be inspire lights?

do the 98's fit the 99's?

 

I dont think 98 would fit 99...i think he is trying to pull a scam. As the pictures he has on ebay and the ones he showed me are not even the same type of lights. I just wanted to make sure if they were maybe inspire tails then they would fit a 99 tl?

 

Never mind guys....i got excited when I saw the pictures. But it reads "light remove from 2000 3.2TL"...which doesnt have the white amber signals. Sorry guys!

Well I messaged the guy and he said he sent me the wrong pictures. But he is selling them for 200 for the pair and they are used with minor scratches! .

Luckily I found another guy on ebay selling the tails for $99 for the pair (brand new).
Total was $157 including shipping to Canada, so I bought it from him instead.
Now the long wait for them to come by USPS.

 

The real Inspire lights have a different size cut out for the bulb base for the turn sig that you cant use an acura harness for. You would have to tape it Like I did.

 

F that. Sounds shady. not only that but you can find way better deals if you look around.

I just noticed one of my bulbs are burnt...


Just for the hell of it, my new all-seasons Yokohama AVID TRZ...and the rims were in that condition when I bought the car, gotta save up for new ones.

don't know if its coincidence or not but that same bulb was burnt out when i installed mine lol

id give you the extra bulb i got because it came with two but umm your not local lol
