Was there a brake recall on the 03 TL S Type?
Was there a brake recall on the 03 TL S Type?
I feel like
because every time I start to brake, I start to shake. I've already taken my car in for the dreaded tranny recall, and less than 2 months later my car is shaking like an epilieptic seizure.
What's the deal? Anyone else have this sort of experience?

there is no recall for warping rotors. if you are under warranty go to the dealer and complain, and tell them you dont want your rotors turned. that or order a set of aftrmarket rotors, like teh brembo blanks, or rotora slotted rotors

Not a warranty recall, but there is a Service Bulletin. Dealers will typically resurface the rotors and put on the new replacement pads free of charge. If yours have a bad vibration then the dealer will not be able to resurface the rotors and keep them in spec so they will probably replace them. I had the same problem with my '03 and they put on new rotors and pads for free. (which I promptly took off the car and put on some RaceConcepts performance rotors & EBC pads). The OEM rotors are prone to warping, so I just decided "not for me" and went after market.
Post back and tell us what the dealer did for you.
