Are there any parts...

from another acura vehicle will direct bolt on for 02 Type-S to increase performance,I'm thinking of MDX or RL injecter,valve spring,throttle body,those parts are not hard to get.but what's will fit??

i would have to say that i don't think it would be worth it. the RL is slower than the TL and the MDX has a bigger displacement to make the same power (although more torque) and i know the MDX cam profile is not the same or it would be making more power than the type-S. nothing from the newer TL would be possible to bolt on (except possibly the camshafts, which is more than a direct bolt-on). our throttle body is pretty optimal for our car so i wouldn't bother with anything else. the exhaust is optimal and nothing else is really a direct bolt-on.

i'm afraid you'll have to bite the bullet and buy aftermarket parts. headers don't cost much, and they're good for 18-20hp at the wheels. splurge a little!

I think they're the same size. Only their base is bigger, but it still bolts on. Only with Hondas you can frankenstein you car with parts from other models lol.

will it increase the compression ratio?hiting the valve?anyone have it done?

the stroke is different on the mdx, thats how they achieve the 3.5 over our 3.2.
if you were to continue to use the type-s rods and pistons with the mdx crank the compresion would be to hi, but there are other waus of lowering it with different pistons
