Post Test Drive Feedback

For those of us up in Toronto where there is no TLS in sight for another month to test drive, how about some more feedback on your personal test drives.

Please.

My impressions of the car:

1) Great power
2) Smooth ride, even though 17" rims
3) Good Handling: Responsive and feels like my Integra
4) Does not feel big at all...drives like a smaller car
5) Love the bells and whistles that come with it for the price: Similar car at BMW would be into $40s
6) Love the smell of Acura's...the smell of BMW,Infiniti, Mercedes makes me sick because of the strong leather smell...the Acura leather isn't strong at all, just smells clean and new
7) Love the memory seats and the remots that link to the memory seats

I really recommend the car myself. The sales people at Bell Acura in Phoenix Arizona are very helpful and top notch. There to sell a car and make you happy with a great price. I think the key to getting a good price on the car is to talk down the accessories. Look at all the stuff I got for less than $2000 more...if bought separately, they would have raked me over the coals (the warranty itself is over $1500, the under body spoiler over $1400...the list goes on)

I recommend the car.

Another test driver described the ride as follows:

"...Also, the suspension appeared to be pretty stiff and I felt EVERY friggin crack, pot-hole, etc. of the pathetic Motor City Roads. It was VERY uncomfortable (may not be as bad on asphalt covered freeways as in L.A."

Maybe the car feels more rigid driving in cold weather than warm. Can you comment?

Thumbs up

Given the TL-S's sporty orientation, I was particularly concerned about the comfort factor in everyday driving and paid close attention to this during my test drive. I chose a typical bumpy country back road to determine how the suspension would handle an imperfect surface. I couldn't have been happier. Ride was not at all harsh or uncomfortable. In fact, I felt the car gave me a relatively smooth ride with just the right amount of steering feedback under the circumstances.

Some other test driver will say something else....basically you will have to drive it yourself and decide for yourself...and while you are at it, also drive a Sport edition of the BMW 330i along the same rough roads and let us know your thoughts on it...
