Terrible news about my TL.
as many of you know, i sold my TL a few months back in order to help somebody in need of a 4 door. (story is in another thread)
i was in need of something new to hold me over untill i made my first "new Car purchase" that should be happening in the coming year.
The owner contacted me today telling me that the car has been totaled
<--- thats literal, i almost puked when i heard.
such a shame so much money and time went into the car to have it demolished in a few short month's time.
main reason for the thread is the owner has contacted me about helping to part out salvagable parts that would be in demand. (so far im told it was a front end collision from the firewall up...) but dont count out front end parts as im not sure of the extent of the damage.
i agreed to help out and when he is able to get me detailed pics of what can be saved and sold. i will make a part out thread for the car and help however acurazine will let me.

Entire lip kit is in tact (all OEM)
saber grill is broken.

i was hoping nobody would ask...
i think im going to purchase my old wheel's off him, i need another set for the lude, but i may get rid of my enkei wheels on my lude now.. same specs.
and mastini i will most definately do what i can to get this part out moving. its initially up to him though.

damn, you and pizaul had the best looking fpr's out there. so sad 
i would like a lipkit though
daves221 had fpr that he totalled and i wanted his lipkit, but someone had already called dibs. he's supposed to be selling me his tails but i haven't heard from him in a while.

all parts will be listed officially when the time comes.. this was more so to let everyone know what happened to the car.
and some forsight on what may be coming of the car's parts.
i'd hate for lipkits/ jdm badges, tails, visors etc. go to waste b/c the present owner doesnt know any better. hopefully i'll get this off the ground sooner or later.

I occassionally run into the guy I sold my RSX type S to and am always glad to see her in great condition, like the day I sold it. It would break my heart to know she died at the hands of another. Shoot, it killed me when I totalled my ep and that was my OWN mistake.

It's just a car, it won't last forever. Even if you think you're the best damn driver in the world, you can still be in an accident.
It's not hard to total a TL with minimal damage.

I'm so sorry to hear man. Your TL was super clean, I was surprised when you sold it. If I sold my TL and had the new owner do that to it, I'm sure I would be close to throwing up as well.

it was wrecked into another vehicle i believe. reason why the bumper, bumper support and front lip survived it was too low to be hit.
dont know the 100% real story yet though,

)but anyways that kind looks like he had hit an SUV or truck by the height of where the damage is (mne still had scraped the bumper cover itself)
