WOW fsttyms! It's great here in N. Carolina. Not too hot and not too cold. I don't miss the brutal weather up north anymore.

Here is mine from today in C, and for you american folk thats 1 degree F. Doesnt beat fsttyms1 but this doesnt include the -31 C windchill today...-24 in F. It was so cold yesterday too that I almost ran my car over the curb and into the bushes at work. The throttle got stuck and wouldn't let up. Scared the hell out of me.....put both feet on the brakes enough to slow down and put it in neutral and then park to shut it off.

You can adjust the thermometer if it is off of the correct temp. I forgot how to do it though...

Hey, looks like i'm not the only one that has been freezing my a$$ off going to work in the morning! I took a pic Saturday night and threw it on another thread. My thermostat read at -12 too. Monday morning it read -14, but no pic this time. It isnt the worst one on here, but it certainly isn't comfortable! Don't know how you Canadians can do it! I just want the spring/summer again.

With the key turned to the Run position, press and hold the trip and reset buttons until the temp changes. then use the buttons to adjust up or down.

Here is a pic of when it was -12 the other day.

It generally takes a few extra cranks to get it to turn over. So far I personally haven't had any problems with it not starting.

Now that i'm thinking about it though, the car make a squeal when it's cold and I make a sharp turn at normal speeds. Seems like power steering (don't see what else it could be), but I don't know if it's something others are experiencing.

Never. Starts just as fast as normal. PS system makes some noise for a little bit but most cars do

-16F this morning in Madison WI.

The camera wouldn't work! No actually I didn't want to get back out of the car once I got it started!

I got a strange noise out of the front struts, but that's about it. I'm not going to worry about it unless I still hear it when it warms up to.. oh I don't know... 0.

It was -40C outside but the gauge would only read to -30C. It was rather "cool" morning.
-40C = -40F and -30C = -22F.

The more I read this, the happier I am that I live in San Francisco, in a way. Never saw anything below 50 or over 85.
