I just put the Teins in my ride, and you need nothing but an alignment afterwards, thats it. Also yo need to break them in by leaving them on the softest setting for a few days before tightening it up.

No pics yet, maybe Ill snap some this weekend, although I am on the stock rims due to a planned long road trip. My drop right now is very close to the Comptech drop, but Im just a little lower in the front and rear.

The ride on the softest setting is a little too soft for me, so I do plan to tighten it up a little, but I love the fact that I cando that and change it back to that setting for long trips, or when I just want a nice more cushy, comfy, and more luxurious ride, and then stiffen it up when I want it a little sportier. Didnt have that option before.

Bottoming out is when your shock compresses to its maximum and hits the bumpstops. Havent done that yet, although I have only had em on a few days.

Since Tein has an adjustment scale of 1-16. Using this 1-16 Tein scale, how would you rate the original OE Type S road feel vs the Tein?

AGPSuperstar, you might want to look into getting the EDFC for your Teins. They are a bit pricey but allow you to adjust your damper setting from inside the cabin. This is an advantage to having to pull over and pop your hood and pull out your seats to chang the damper setting and/or drilling holes into your rear deck. For more info on the EDFC, check out http://www.tein.com/edfc.html

Go to www.tein.com/edfc.html and look up for fitting. Tein has redesigned the EDFC to fit the 99+ TL but NOT the CL.
