Question tcs light with remote start

hey guys,
looked around but couldn't find the answer to my question.
i've had remote start on my factory alarm for quite some time now, but finally getting really annoyed with tcs light that stays on after a remote start. doesn't ever turn off until shut off car. even pressing the tcs button doesn't do anything. anyone else experience this problem? is the tcs really turned off? or is the light just on?
thanks in advance,
peter =)

I have remote start and my TCS light doesn't come on. If you wired it yourself and its been on since day one that you installed the remote start, you probably messed up some of the wiring

Remote start in this car is not so easy. Somebody that has never done this in a TL would have definate problems their first time around. In the TL there are two ignition wires and two accessory wires that come off the ignition harness. If any of these wire are not energized by the remote start system when the car is remote started.... the corresponding accessories will not be activated while the car is running. So when the car is running the ECU will throw a light. It usually won't mess anything up. But it should be fixed. If you need help please let me know. If it was installed professionally then take it back.

See Peter. There is a difference. If it was done by a PROFESSIONAL it probably would have cost more. But it would have been done right. And when I say PROFESSIONAL I'm not talking about Circuit City or Best Buy.

But seriously. If you want some help with fixing it let me know. I've got all the info on hand.

1st time user here....someone just installed my alarm w/remote starter but they couldn't find the brake sensor to attach the blue wire to. As a result, the car starts and shuts off 3 consecutive times. Can you tell me where I can find the brake sensor...I have a 1996 2.5 tl....any help would greatly be appreciated.....thx summer

You are in the wrong forum...this is 2nd gen. Wiring is completely different. However the brake wire is the easiest to find.....better get someone else to finish the job.
