go to autozone and ask for the codes to be read for you again- come back with the letter number combos they give you
May be insufficient egr flow- the egr ports get plugged up in the intake manifold- takes less than 2 hours to remove and clean- and re-install- then reset the computer

DIY on egr port cleaning
DIY on egr port cleaning

thermoblock is an optional part many of us run-
for now- just follow the physical removal of the manifold and EGR port cleaning that is part of the DIY
Skip the install thermo spacer
Buy new intake manifold gaskets at dealer- just tell the parts guy what you are doing, they will hook you up
Read the DIY a few times and look under the hood
Its a little scary when you look at it, but not difficult if you have basic skills and the correct tools for the job.
If you are not confident- pay a shop 1.5 hours labor- about $150 to do it for you
Use a private honda shop that knows what you are talking about when you say `the EGR may be plugged` I am getting a low flow code
If they want to replace the EGR valve- keep looking for a good shop

on 99s iirc- acura had a service bulletin on the egr port -that year had only 1 port and it clogged easily- so they drilled out the hole slightly- then put in a metal sleeve- which made it just as likely to plug up again-
new years, 00 on- have 6 egr ports cast into the intake manifold- you clean the crud buildup from those and rinse out the intake manifold in general.
EGR valve may be bad- but the likely culprit is the egr ports themself.
the valve opens and closes- if its doing that- its fine
When the ports are pluggsed- flow is reduced...sensor picks that up....
