TCS Comes On After Driving For 10 Min.
My 1999 Acura 3.2TL TCS lights come on after driving for about 10 min. If I switch of and restart it goes off and come back on after about 10 min. driving. Any advice?

It could be any number of things. Go to a auto parts store and see if they can get a code read while its on.

Even then it shouldnt cause it. Usually that light comes on for a TCS/ABS wheel speed sensor problem and/or many things that trigger a CEL (even if its not on) Many have had the TCS light come on and it be a P0401. We wont know for sure until he gets teh codes read.

the tcs lights comes on for the dumbest reasons for all i know mines came on twice while i was driving on the highway it came on with the check engine! I had pulled over and shut the car off for about 5 mins turned it back on and press the TCS button and it would turn on and off with the check engine light on funny thing is i never check to see what was wrong with it so I resetted the ECU and the car was fine no CEL or TCS on. So the other day I was working on my car and accidently broke the air filter on the intake. So I had no choice but to drive without an intake (just the throttle body) and as im driving for 10 mins my CEL light and TCS light comes on I understand the CEL but the TCS just plain bullshit. So I finally got to install my stock intake back on and everything disappeared no CEL or TCS light on.

Get the codes read.
TCS can come on for the weirdest things... I put the IM access plate gasket on backwards after I installed spacers... only about 1/4 inch of the metal gasket was blocking air flow, but it was enough to throw a CEL and TCS after about 5min of driving.

it didn't cost me anything but to answer why i think it bullshit is because why did they design the TCS light to come on with the Check Engine and didn't all you guys mention that if all the lights in your dash comes on it would mean that the TRANNY is on its way to failure? which would cost someone who didn't know jack about cars to go install one?

Im still trying to put the logic of all the lights on mean trans prob,, would force someone to have a trans replaced--without getting it checked???? huh?
For all- the warning lights dont always mean what they say-they mean get it checked- Codes are not diagnosis either- they are Clues
they dont show up for no reason at all
the owner book has lots of info too
