tcs & abs light on

hey guys my tcs light & abs light came on today when i started the car, any comments or ideas why , just went through a car wash and went to the mall , could the freezing temperature have anything to do with it,,,,thankxz danny

you should have your speed sensors checked... might be the problem.

Call around to your local auto parts stores and see which ones do free code reading. Get a code, come back to us and hopefully its something we can help you with/fix

When that happened to my old Accord, turned out to be almost dead alternator and weak battery. Just a thought.

wow! a month old and i'm having the same problem -- dcostatl -- did you figure out what was wrong?

the lights actually turned off the next day , maybe foreign object got into the sensor , this happened to me once before , i think drifting snow got in there some how , this happened on 2 snow storm days, give it a day or so before servicing.

where exactly are the sensors? this actually only started when i hit a crucial bump a few days ago....i just hate jacking up the car not knowing what to look for

Mine does this every now and then. And for some reason now everytime I use the remote start they come on and stay on until I resart with the key. The alarm has been on like 2 yrs and this only started about 3 or 4 months ago. Anyone know what would cause this??

I thought you only got a code if the CEL was on.

a couple months ago i had a mechanic run the test and a weird code came up. he looked it up in his books and it said dealer code. he said i HAVE to go to the dealer to fix it. but then again he was little cracked out

an alternator or battery could be causing this problem?
