I spoke to a Tanabe rep a while ago while asking about the Hyper and he mentioned this new one. Said is very similar to the Hyper.. I like the tone / sound.. just not much of a fan of the tips tho..

Just Noticed that the Part Numbers for the CL and TL are different: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/touringmedalion.asp?id=7

In the TL Type-S say "Coming Soon" and States part number "T70078" when the CL Type-S is perhaps available Now but the part Number is "T70074"? I wonder if it would bolt-on easily in the TL-S since I wanted to buy a Cat-back since stone age lol...

i have the hyper medallion exhaust for a cl-s on my tl-s. (got the whole thing for $200 brand new) bolted right up but the tips are about 1 inch in from being flush with the rear bumper. and i have not melted the rear bumper in almost 2 years.

rather spend money on the atlp catback.. my tsudo axleback with midmuffler delete sounds nicer than the tanabe catback, no offense to you tanabe owners.

^mind I ask how you got it so keep?

is it just new tips? or is there an actual muffler that goes with this?

and I assume you all have the Intake Res removed right?

no it was a full cat back setup. i bought it from a fellow soldier who was moving back to the states, and he sold the car on the uk economy, so he had this brand new exhaust in a shed in his yard. he posted it up for sale and i called. i had no idea that it would fit, but i tried it and it did. the only difference is theres longer tips on the tl's.
