They are not THAT big. No one can be as big as the Greddy EVo. You cant get towed unless they have a a ref with them and yo are seriously modded out. Normal cops dont know the rules like a ref. If you get pulled over for an exhaust and you get towed because of it then you are having a shitty as day. I am sure they will no tow your car for big exhaust. The ruls is that you cant have exhaust diameter more than 3 inches. From a naked eye, differnce of 1 inch is not that visible, esp diamter wise.

the more serious issue is the carb issue. Overhere in CALI, if you don pass smog you dont get insurance. In this case not carb legal, you wont pass smog. That equals to driven illegally. So if you say WHO CARES ABOUT CARB then you are pretty dumb and naive to be saying that. Carb is a serious issue , well over here in CALI. but if your state dont give a shit bout smog check then i guess whoc ares is the attitude

 

oh yeah, i dont think yo will be in deep shit for exhaust. Hoewmany people do you see with illegal, 4 inch diamter exhaust. Like 2out every 5 cars. Cops dont have time to write up everyone. they dont care bout small stuff like that. Plus not all cops well know

 

My Apexi WS I has a 4 inch tip and cops don't give a shit about me.

 

Its only a myth that you will get pulled over for oversized exhaust tips. Unless you have a really loud ricy exhaust on your car, which makes the cop think that may be this guy needs a new muffler, i dont think you will get in trouble with the cops.

I have obx exhausts and I never got pulled over. They are 3.5 inches
