Talking Taking Delivery

The most important advice is to pick your car up during the day. I bought a car once, when I was young and naive, and picked it up just as it was getting dark outside. There were some minor scratches that I noticed the next day in the sunlight. Go early, take your time and look the car over and make sure everything is as you expect it to be before you sign all of the paperwork. One time a dealership wanted me to sign all of the paperwork while the car was getting ready for delivery. NO WAY..don't ever do that. Always sign everything after you see and inspect the car. With age comes wisdom. Be an informed car buyer. Enjoy your new Type "S" and try not to smile to much when you drive off of the lot. Peace

If possible take along someone else with you on the pick-up. They do not have that wide eyed new car gleam in their eye and can focus on the little nits and picks of the car, while you are doing that paperwork and getting shown how to use the door locks, etc.
