You can fix it yourself very easily...just go to a auto parts store and get a replacement bulb. No more than a 5 minute job, GUARANTEED.

The tail lights went out on my '99 a year after I purchased the vehicle. The local auto parts store didn't have the right size. When I found the right fit I happened to look at the wattage and I recall the specs were not the same. I suggest to go back to the dealer and get the original equipment. If you are closer to a Honda dealership the parts manager should be able to match one up from the Accord.

I complained and paid nothing for 4 replacement bulbs. It was kind of funny they seem to burn out so soon, but I don't care now since I got rid of the car.

after replacing my lights with the '02's I had no problem. I changed out the harnesses yesterday, placed the harness and bulbs on the ground and 2 of the bulbs filiments (sp?) broke and I had to throw them out.

Point of that story?? Those bulbs are EXTREMELY fragile and I'm surprised they don't go out a lot more with the amount of bumps we hit everyday while driving.

Yes I ordered them from Tim. I ordered the day the MVC forum went up. Yours are probably close to being shipped, but what the heck do I know.

Thanks for the compliment on the sig, I'm trying to do something different and not take a whole page to list my mods. It's stilla work in progress though.

Got it replaced today... for free. Next stop, getting the rear door wrinkles out, Further tuning to moonroof (there is a new clear tape out to make it more sound proof i believe, and buffing of a scratch) That will be done next week. Shiet my prelude didn't have this many probs! For those interested about the shifter cover (I think its called a Scussion or something) The part runs 5 bucks, but the install takes a long time, they have to take the center console out. Best to do it yourself i you have a few hours handy.

Make sure not to touch the bulbs with your fingers.. The oil in your skin reduces the life of Halogen bulbs..Use a towel or napkin to hold it..
