I saw this for the CL. looks pretty nice. I was wondering if a simple tint over the clear piece will do the job. It looks like this one the CL

I have seen it one like One Tl but I wasnt able to locate his car anymore. Any suggestions. If it is just a simple tint then wouldnt it wear off over time with the amount of car wash and UV. SInce I have tint in my car and the first thing the people tell you NOT to do while washing tinted window is to use soap. Maybe I can jsut tint it and jsut watch out when washing my car. Let me know what you guys come up with..

 

www.c-c-c.net sells it for the CL. Its a vinyl like material that you put on the car and is made to be on the exterior of your car (so it can survive the weather and can be washed with car soap)... Just order the piece for the CL and you should be able to fit it to your TL. I'm gonna be doing the same.

 

I personally think that unless you have a black car it's going to look kinda funny with the dark tint. It will just stand out.

 

I agree with dragon576....i dont think it would look good on any other colour other than black.

 

it actually looks really good on white as well...there is a DIY posting of the tint on a white CL on acura-cl

 

I have a white car with blacked out headlights, black grill and black rims. I thought it will look nice with tinted tailights to be uniform with the rst of the black and white contrast. I have a feeling there is a thing against contrast on out TLS since msot people thing it is a lucury car that it is too ricey or whatever. I heven thought ot a CF hood but after seen a white car with a cf hood, i decide that didnt look good. <--maybe for show purposes, other than that I wouldnt put it on) I agree that everything black, headlights, tailights and everyting will look good on a BLACk car but I think my car will look nice too since its uniform with what I have so far. I will give it a try.

I have a Laguna TL. I think they look pretty nice! I got them off ebay and it looks like they were taking apart and done maybe with a spray or something? I dont think it was tape or film.
