My wife drives a 2000 TL and my concern is not simply the tranny slipping but the several cases where the tranny went into second gear at freeway speeds. The thought of her and the kids in a situation like that is not pleasant. Did anyone here experience that sudden downshift and if you did, were there other transmission symptoms before the big downshift? Or did the incidence like Copland007 had happen out of the blue? Thanks a lot.
