switch HID to fog?
then length of the d2r is totally different..and your beam would be off that is if you can get it to fit...chances are no but its possible to ghetto rig it...i advise just doing it the right way so you dont short out your ballast and be a$$ out....
hope that helps

I want 6000k bulbs as my headlights....but don't want to waste the stock 4300k bulbs....
are the bulbs readily replaceable? as in..if i get a 6000k d2r bulb,..it'll fit right into the stock harness with no difficulties?
I'll then have to shell out some more money to buy a 9006 conversion kit. So basically.. i'm trying to use my stock HID's for fogs, so that I don't have to buy an extra set of bulbs just to fit the 9006 application. does that make any sense?

ah ic, now i get what you are trying to do. but seriously i would have put my stock hid as spare and get the kits. coz' you spend quite some money to change the low beam to 6k, and even though you change the fogs to hid (the old stock low beam) it would be very "yellow" compared to the new 6k hid
and from a comparison point of view it's like your stock hid compared to stock fogs.... people won't be like wow........
so..... change everything
