Thumbs up sweet exhaust startup sound

it's just the stock exhaust with some aftermarket tips, but my god the startup sound is like music to my ears. it's loud and aggressive enough to draw attention in a parking lot, but it's definitely not obnoxiously loud like a civic with a fart can. i recorded it with high quality audio for you guys to listen.

what does everyone think? opinions?

It sounds like the car starts at 6000 rpms or something. I'm sure it sounds a lot better in person, but that recording wasn't too appealing to me.

Maybe the recording doesn't do it justice. And this is just the tips added? Shouldn't sound any different from stock TL's starting up if so.

there's nothing wrong with that. you'll just wear out your motor quicker. hey its your car.

it can't cause that much wear, as it is basically just a 4k rev when the engine's cold. and besides, i don't do it all the time, only when i want to stunt a little bit

To be honest, this doesn't sound like anything special. It sounds just like any other regular car would.

Stunt? It's stock man... Revving it at startup like that actually appears kind of... totally useless.

For the records, this is a nice sounding TL startup:
MAGNAFLOW

On a cold start all the oil is in the bottom of the pan, so yes, your "stunt" can potentially be very harmful.
