Sway Bars! Yes or No?
#1

I want more stability on the corners, so I am thinking about buying sway bars. But first of all some people say that sway bars can damage the car somehow and the whole luxury is going to hell. Plus there are several manufacturers to choose from. What is real deal here?

sways will hardly make the ride suffer, at least not nearly as much as springs & shocks will. All they do is tighten the car while cornering so there is less body roll. A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Make sure all the grease is used on the poly bushings b/c they will squeak.
2. At high speed cornering, your car will have less of a tendancy to understeer (good), but once over the limit may increase your chances of oversteer (bad). So drive carefull until you get the hang of them.
3. I have not put sways on my TL but speak from experience on my other car.
good luck, imo sways are the best handling mod besides better tires.

I failed to notice ANY ride penalty with the addition of just the sways.
Whether you go CT or Neuspeed ( yes Ed we do respect your opinion
), I don't think you'll be disappointed.
now .... GO GET 'EM !
