Wassup everyone.
I was wondering if anyone with a TLP or a older year TL or a CLS want to swap headrest with me. I am planning to put some TV's on the headrest but the TLS comes with the sport headrest so I cant put the TV's in. PLease let me know if anyone with EBONY interior would like to swap headrest with me. PREFERRABLLY as new as possible. THanks

the only difference between the tl-p cars is that the 2002+ ones can be tilted. if you don't care, you might as well look into the 6g accord headrests. they had ebony leather interiors and these would be plentiful. just make sure the headrest stands fit the chairs.

 

Stan, accords don't have EBONY interiors, they have CHARCOAL, which is much lighter than ebony.The headrests will not match..AZN, the only headrests that will match ebony are other TL ebony headrests, not accords.

 

If you want, I know that Street Effectz can put tv's in a type s headrest and make it look factory. Send it too him if no one wants to trade you there headrests.

Also what monitors do you plan on using and do you plan on doing it yourself, and what are you hooking them up to for picture.

 

Id be willing to trade you mine as long as they fit. I have ebony and never use the headrest. let me know acnup00tl@cs.com

 

when i got my tl-s i asked the dealer if the solid head rest were interchangeable with the s-types and he told me that they were not so please go to ur dealer and check to see if the old ones fit b4 going thru all that another option is you may want to put the monitors behind the seat and not in the headrest,,,,,,its only an option,,,,,,so please ,,,no comments

 

like Indy said, send them to Ron (Streeteffectz), he said he could do it and it would come out alike the factory ones, i sent him my type s headrest to throw in some tvs in them. cant wait.
