Suspension costs

I was reading in a consumer magazine about repair costs for the TL and it mentioned that the shocks and struts would average a cost of $1400 to replace. Why is the cost so high?

NO WAY! It costs 200 - 400 for a pair of GOOD shocks, plus about the same for labor.

For new shocks and struts for my car installed I paid $500.

you are looking at coil over money installed for that kinda green
