supercharger upgrade ?'s

What's that new Electric Supercharger I was promo'd the other day and what do you guys think of it or have heard about it? It's about 1800.00 and claiming 75-200+ hp upgrade. Sounds far too cheap or possible. Other than that what are your opinions on SC choices for a 99 tlp. I am going to get Injen CAI, iridium plugs and in the future headers and pulleys. For an SC should upgrade TB or will my stock TB be good enough?

wait, do you mean the ones that are "supposed" to force the air into your intake with a little fan and give you 100 hp?...cuz if you do, those don't work at all....
might as well have someone under the hood blowing into the intake tube while you're floorin it.

def stick to INJEN RD CAI.....it's awesome. adds a bit of power, while sounding amazing.

not sure about SC and TB though.

that electric supercharger is BS.

a accord V6 comptech supercharger would work on a 1999 TL.

How much is the Accord V6 SC? How much is the expected power gain? Sounds intriguing! Also what I mentioned was advertized on this site and I heard they were BS, but this was a new one and I naively thought there was a chance in hell it could work. Nothing is too good to be true I guess.

here is a better question: is the AV6 a direct bolt on to a TL-P? The power associated with the SC is given, it's wether or not you have to invest a bunch of other money just to get the damn thing on!!!

not a direct fit, but can be done without major modifications.

Here is the Thomas Knight web page. He makes the real electric superchargers. I have never seen anyone using them, so I don't know how good they work. They don't however look like the ebay junk. He is using real superchargers and what looks like about ~25hp worth of electric motors to run them.
